As i was in our
church and had a fun time eating, I notice one of the new members in our
church. She was having a fun time with the leaders. Moments later I figured out
that she was going to sang for a special performance in our Sunday service. I
can’t help but to feel envy and a bit jealous because I was waiting to be on
that spot for a long time. It was really unfair and my nerves are flaring but
nonetheless I calm myself and think of something refreshing. Well, it’s not
really fair that you wait for too long and finding out that your spot has been
taken from you. Actually it’s not a spot to be called off, it’s called the
spotlight. Later than that I have realized that I have faults too, I gave up
and became invisible.
I envy her I know…but
whatever happens, God has taught me the real deal.
It’s not really about yourself only..
Because you don’t need to praise him with so many people in
front of you just to be notice by him.
Just by using your voice he already notices you…see you,
heard you and even love you.
He loves watching you. And with that you should not feel
envy nor jealous. Don’t be insecure and be yourself. Because God chooses you as
who you are and what your hearts contain. It doesn’t matter if you’re a song
leader or a mere worshiper…because no matter what it takes he sees you.
You’re not singing or praising to please people but to
please God.
